Attention Parent/Guardians of 9-12 Football players, TONIGHT, Parent-Athlete Activity Meeting at 6 PM in DLHS Commons.

Football practices update: Devils Lake Head Coach Todd Lambrecht emailed a general football practice schedule: practice each day until school starts for grades 10-12 is 8 AM-12 Noon. 9th grade practices are 8 AM-11 AM, that is everyday except on Sunday (no practice) 7-8, first practice is Monday August 8th, practices are 4-5:30 every day during the week, no weekend practices. Questions contact Coach Lambrecht at DLHS at 662-1200.

First Practice Dates: *MUST HAVE PHYSICAL AND ALL REQUIRED FORMS COMPLETED BEFORE YOU MAY PRACTICE. *Turn in completed physical form, and all other related activity forms at the office. Attention all 7-12 students for NEXT school year: Back to School Sports Physical Information: Please read the attached flyer and schedule an appointment to get a physical as soon as possible. All student athletes will need a NEW sports physical for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. *Mr. Mahon will need a copy of your physical before you may participate in any practices. Sports that Minnewaukan co-ops with Devils Lake, will need all of the other forms filled out and signed by parent/guardians before the 1st practices. 7-12 Football players need their physicals completed PRIOR TO 1ST PRACTICE, NEXT THURSDAY AUGUST 4TH.

Please make sure your student is updated on their immunizations before school starts. They can either see their primary doctor or contact Benson County Health. Clinics will be held in the following areas: August 4th in Leeds 9:30-3:30, August 11th in Maddock 9:30-3:30 and our Minnewaukan clinic August 18th all day. Tomorrow, June 23rd, is the summer school field trip to the Minot Zoo for students in grades K-8 who missed two or less days. The bus will return to the school at 3:30. Expect students to arrive home around 30 minutes later than their usual summer school time.

Volleyball Camp Monday & Tuesday, June 6 & 7 @ FW gym. Entering grades 7-12: 9am-12pm Entering grades 3-6: 1-3pm Students attending summer school: Grades 7-12 parents/guardians will need to drop off students at FW gym at 8:45am. Students will be bussed back to Minnewaukan to attend afternoon summer school. Grades 3-6 will be bussed to FW from Minnewaukan, but parents/guardians will need to pick them up from FW at 3pm. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Freschette at 701-200-2221.

Summer school started today. If your student missed today the bus will stop for them again tomorrow around the same time. If you need your bus time please call the school. **There is summer school on Friday this week!

A couple of reminders for this week: *The carnival is from 5:00-7:00 tonight, May 17th. Come on out for food, games, dunk tank! *There is an early out on Wednesday at 1:00.
