On Wednesday, Elementary students met with their Mentor Groups to work on a group challenge. Their challenge was to build a cup pyramid using only a string and rubber band device to stack the cups, and of course, practice their teamwork skills! The students loved working and learning together and are excited to do it again next month!

Parent teachers conferences will be held tonight from 4-7 and on Thursday from 4-7. There will be no 21st Century on either days. The book fair will be open during this time as well!
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held Tuesday and Thursday from 4-7. You may stop into the school or call to be updated on your student's progress. The first day of the book fair will also be tomorrow!
There will be no 21st century or after school program today, Thursday March 24th.

Summer School signup sheets for grades Kindergarten through sixth were sent home with your student today.
This Thursday March 24th many of our 9-12 students will be attending the Science Olympiad in Bottineau. They leave from Minnewaukan School at 9 AM and return between 7:30 PM and 8 PM. Parents of these students will need to pick their student up in the Minnewaukan School parking lot and give them a ride home. Thanks

All students in grades PK-12 will be attending the pep rally to celebrate the FW-M boys basketball team going to state on Wednesday, March 16th @ 12:00 at FourWinds. Students will be dismissed and bused home as soon as the pep rally concludes. Please call the school before 11:00 on this day with any alternate plans for your student.
** The pickle sale will now be tomorrow, Tuesday March 15th, at 2:30!
Tomorrow, March 15th, is spring picture day!! Pictures will start around 9 and conclude before noon. Students who bring a form will be photographed. If you wish for your student to take pictures and they do not have a form please communicate that to your child and/or their teacher if they are younger. Forms will be sent home tonight.
The annual Pickle Sale will be Wednesday, March 16th at 2:30. Students can bring money to purchase pickles, pickle juice, and other treats! Proceeds will go towards the Sources of Strength team and Student Council.
Parents/Care Givers - Due to the significant drop in cases of Covid-19 in our nation, state, and county we will be making masks optional for our school starting on Monday 3/14/2022. Parents/Care Givers please discuss this with your children and reassure them that if they still wish to wear masks they certainly can. We will provide masks for students and staff until the end of the school year. We do have COVID-19 rapid tests on site if your child has been exposed to or is showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Tomorrow, March 11, 2022, will be a virtual learning day. High school students please check your Google Classrooms for work and elementary students can complete the emergency snow packet that was sent home last month if they haven’t already.
There will be no 21st century today, March 8 due to weather. All students will be sent home at 3:30.
This is a reminder that all 11th grade students will be taking the ACT test on Tuesday, March 8th. Please ensure your student is on time. If your student is going to be gone, please contact the school immediately.
Students wishing to take the ACT again in the future at an outside testing site can pick up a fee waiver from the school counselor.
School will be dismissed today, March 7th, at 1:00. 21st Century students will stay from 1:00-3:00 and then be bused home. FWM regional basketball game start at 3:00.
School will be let out early on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 1:00, due to to the boys regional games starting at 3:00. There will be 21st Century from 1:00-3:00. Students will be bused home at 3:00 on this day.
Just a reminder tomorrow is our last day of Read Across America week! Don't forget to have your kids wear pajamas or green to celebrate Green Eggs and Ham!!!
