Masks will be required in all indoor areas of the MPS. Masks will be provided to students if needed. Please send a water bottle with your student as there will only be filling stations.
If your student was enrolled at MPS last year they are still enrolled. If your address or phone number has changed please contact the main office at 701-473-5306. This is both for our records and to make sure they get picked up at the right spot.

9-12 CLASS REGISTRATION: I just sent out an email to all 9-12 students for class registration selections for the upcoming school year. Please open the email and the form, read each question carefully, fill out the form AND SUBMIT. All class selections are subject to administrative review and are subject to change by the administration when necessary. The summer school buses are delayed due to construction. Bus times will be between 5:15-7:15.
The summer school field trip is tomorrow for students who missed 2 or less days. There has been a change in plans...we will be going to the Canad Inn in Grand Forks. Bus times will be the same in the morning. Expect students home between the hours of 4:00-6:00. If you are questioning whether or not your student is eligible to attend please call the school. Bus changes must be into the office by 3:00 on Friday.
There has been a date change for Nature Camp: June 21 through July 2.
School for 7th-12th grade will not be on Fridays EXCEPT for the final field trip on the last day of summer school: June 25th for students in grades K-12 who missed less than two days of summer school.
**Grades K-6 will participate in field trips on Fridays.
Permission slips will go home tonight to participate in the field trips and basketball camp.

James Tice, Minnewaukan senior, is headed off to the state track meet tomorrow morning! The bus will be leaving the Devils Lake high school at 9am. Come line up on College Dr. if you are able on Thursday morning.

School will be dismissing at 2:00 today. Students will be bused home at this time. Have a great summer! Summer school starts June 1st!
There will be a kindergarten program to celebrate the kindergarteners moving to 1st grade at 12:00 tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th. Kindergarten families are welcome to attend this celebration.
James Tice qualified for state in the shot put today with a throw of 49' 7.25" at the Devils Lake Rotary track meet!
Both girls and boys will stay for basketball on Mon, Tues, and Thurs.
The MPS Penny War has been extended through Wednesday, May 19th! Which Principal will have the most money in their bucket? We will find out on Thursday! All proceeds go towards Student Council sponsored events.
If your students have devices and chargers at home they will need to be turned in on Monday. Distant learning students in elementary this is for you too. If students do not turn in chargers with their devices bills will be sent out. The cost of an ipad charger is $40 and Chromebook charger is $25.

I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone who has so graciously helped us during this time with the Henry's Hope fundraisers by wearing socks and hats, buying 50/50 tickets, making and buying baked goods for the bake sale, and donating. We are blown away by the amount of love and support we have received from this amazing Minnewaukan School community! I am so very blessed to be a part of Minnewaukan School, thank you!

Just a reminder the Spring Concert will be at 1:30 today. We are unable to livestream the concert, but we will post a recording later.
**There will be a 50/50 raffle for Mrs. Jordaan's son who has surgery later this month. Tickets are $1. Staff, grades 7-12, and families can participate in this.
