There is an early out today at 1:00. All students and buses will be dismissed at this time. Early outs will always occur on the last Wednesday of the month.

The Four Winds - Minnewaukan Activity Coop Committee met today at Four Winds Alternative School. If any parent/guardian of any student enrolled would like their student to be tested for Covid, please contact the respective school, and set up a time for testing. Minnewaukan School back to school night will be on Wednesday, August 25th, from 5:30-7:00. A meal can be taken to go for family members of enrolled students from 6:30-7:00.
There will be papers being sent home tonight with all elementary students. All students need to bring back the red paper signed. Read through the other forms and fill them out if you are interested.

Attention all 7th and 8th grade female students, Girls Volleyball will begin on Wednesday August 18th at 4 PM at the Four Winds High School Gym. Masks will be required in all indoor areas of the MPS. Masks will be provided to students if needed. Please send a water bottle with your student as there will only be filling stations.

9-12 CLASS REGISTRATION: I just sent out an email to all 9-12 students for class registration selections for the upcoming school year. Please open the email and the form, read each question carefully, fill out the form AND SUBMIT. All class selections are subject to administrative review and are subject to change by the administration when necessary. The summer school buses are delayed due to construction. Bus times will be between 5:15-7:15.
The summer school field trip is tomorrow for students who missed 2 or less days. There has been a change in plans...we will be going to the Canad Inn in Grand Forks. Bus times will be the same in the morning. Expect students home between the hours of 4:00-6:00. If you are questioning whether or not your student is eligible to attend please call the school. Bus changes must be into the office by 3:00 on Friday.
There has been a date change for Nature Camp: June 21 through July 2.
School for 7th-12th grade will not be on Fridays EXCEPT for the final field trip on the last day of summer school: June 25th for students in grades K-12 who missed less than two days of summer school.
**Grades K-6 will participate in field trips on Fridays.
Permission slips will go home tonight to participate in the field trips and basketball camp.

James Tice, Minnewaukan senior, is headed off to the state track meet tomorrow morning! The bus will be leaving the Devils Lake high school at 9am. Come line up on College Dr. if you are able on Thursday morning.

There will be a kindergarten program to celebrate the kindergarteners moving to 1st grade at 12:00 tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th. Kindergarten families are welcome to attend this celebration.
