Fitness Center Fobs have been having technical difficulties for patrons trying to access the facility. Lakeside Lock and Key has been notified and will work to address the problem. We hope to have it resolved soon.
School and busses will be 2 hours late tomorrow, Feb. 18th. No breakfast will be served.
There will be no 21st Century tonight, February 11th, here at Minnewaukan.
THE FITNESS CENTER IS OPEN!!! Key fobs will be available beginning on Thursday, February 13th. Please call the school or email kent.dennis@k12.nd.us to arrange to get a fob. There is a $5.00 deposit and a waiver form to be signed before you can be issued a fob. Those 16 and older may get a fob. The rules of the fitness center are listed below:
Fitness Center Rules and Regulation
✓ Use of the exercise equipment and Wellness Center is at your own risk
✓ Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program
✓ Individuals are responsible for knowing their physical limitations
✓ Do not allow others to use your key fob
✓ Use the equipment only for its intended purpose
✓ No one under 16 is allowed to use the facility without an adult
✓ No food allowed
✓ No drinks allowed that cannot be capped
✓ No horseplay
✓ Wipe down equipment before and after use
✓ Use family-friendly language
✓ Return all equipment after use
✓ Keep your bag and equipment out of the way of others
✓ Don’t interrupt others’ workouts with conversation, particularly people wearing headphones
✓ Respect other people who are using the Wellness Center. Photos or video recordings of other patrons is not allowed without consent.
✓ Proper clothing is required
✓ Wear clean non-marking shoes
✓ Notify the school (701-473-5306) if equipment is broken
✓ The school is not responsible for lost or stolen articles
✓ Deposit of $5.00 for each key fob
✓ Hours:
• School Days: 5:00am -7:30am and 4:00pm-11:00pm
• Non-School Days: 5am-11:00pm
• Additional times must be arranged with the school

Attention 2nd Grade Families: You're invited to a special Family Activity in our 2nd-grade classroom! Join us tomorrow February 12th at 2:00 PM for a fun story time followed by an exciting activity. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your child, connect with their learning, and enjoy a meaningful classroom experience together. We look forward to seeing you there!

There is after-school programming Monday-Thursday for students in grades 7-12 who may need extra support with their classes.

Pre-K Parents: Tomorrow, Jan. 31, come eat breakfast with your student with a classroom activity starting at 8:40! We can't wait to see you!
There is an early out today, January 29th @ 1:00. All students will be bused home at this time.
There will be no 21st Century tonight due no bus driver.
Tomorrow Thursday, January 23rd: All 7-12 students are attending the T4 Summit at Camp Grafton. We will be leaving the school at 8:50am and will return back to the school by 2:30pm. Please have students dress appropriately for the weather. They will need closed toe shoes for this event.

Minnewaukan Public School will dismiss today at 1:30 due to the weather. There is no school for students on Monday, Jan. 20th, to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Friday January 24th @ 2:30 Miss Hilary’s kindergarten will be having a gingerbread family event. Come to the school and help the students make giant gingerbread craft.
Powerschool Data Breach Update
Minnewaukan School was informed by the NDIT (North Dakota Information Technology) office that some records were affected by the Powerschool data breach. This breach impacted 95% of the schools in the state. We do not know what information or individuals this may have affected. The national Powerschool company is working through that process. If you have any questions regarding the Powerschool data breach, please contact the school.
As a precaution, we recommend that parents and guardians reset their password. To reset your password, please utilize the following steps:
1. Go to www.minnewaukan.k12.nd.us
2. Click on POWERSCHOOL in the red boxes
3. Log into your Powerschool Account
4. On the left side, click on “Account Preferences”
5. From there, you will see the “Current Password”
6. Click on the pencil icon next to the stars
7. Enter your old password and create a new one in the boxes provided
The 7/8 GBB game scheduled for today vs. Ojibwe has been cancelled. Instead 7/8 girls will have practice at Four Winds.
