The Christmas concert is tomorrow, Wednesday December 11th, at 1:00.
The Minnewaukan Elementary students enjoyed doing projects with our Artist in Residence this year. All students enjoyed viewing everyone’s projects at the art show today.
There is an elementary presentation for the Artist in Residency who visited our school this week. Students in grade K-6 will have projects displayed from 2:00-3:00. If you want to come and take a look at the projects the students would love to have an audience!
21st Century Students may arrive home a little later than usual tonight, Wednesday December 4th, as they left the school a bit later than usual this evening.
The 3rd and 4th graders performed Christmas songs at the Eventide Devils Lake Care Center and the Maddock Memorial Home on December 3rd. They performed two of their winter concert songs. Some students even accompanied their class on keyboard instruments!
The junior and senior students will be going to Grand Forks to tour colleges on Wednesday December 4th. The students may arrive home later on this day.
There is an early out today. All students will be dismissed and bused home at 1:00.
There will be an assembly to launch our NDTC channel today in the gym at 2:45 today. Everyone is welcome to come to the assembly or to check out the channel on channel 474!
There will be no 21st Century tonight due to road conditions.
The Pre-K class will be going on a Field Trip on Friday, November 22nd to Leevers in Devils Lake. Please sign the Field Trip form that is being sent home today and return it to school no later than Thursday, November 21st so your child can participate in the Field Trip.
At the Devils Lake Firebirds Football banquet last night, Minnewaukan's James Tice received the 2019 Outstanding Defensive Lineman, Class AA All Conference East Region, and First Team ND All State Team football awards. James ended the season with 14 solo tackles, 6 tackles for a loss, and 2 forced fumbles. Congrats James!
The elementary boys basketball game is at the Minnewaukan School against Lakota at 4:30.
In Pre-K We are learning about the Grocery Store and if you have empty grocery items please send to school for our pretend grocery store. We will be having a field trip to the grocery store next week, more information to come.
