The Devils Lake Bus will be running late today. It will arrive at Leading Edge Equipment at 8:10 AM for those who prefer to meet it there. Otherwise, please be on the lookout for the bus between 8:10 and 9:30 AM.

Students who are entering 7th-12 grade next year or graduating from high school this year have the opportunity to apply to INSTEM at Valley City State University! Indians in STEM or (INSTEM) is a program that allows Native American Students in North Dakota the opportunity to learn and engage in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math related activities in the summer for free! Applications are due April 25th. Fitness Center Fobs have been having technical difficulties for patrons trying to access the facility. Lakeside Lock and Key has been notified and will work to address the problem. We hope to have it resolved soon.

THE FITNESS CENTER IS OPEN!!! Key fobs will be available beginning on Thursday, February 13th. Please call the school or email kent.dennis@k12.nd.us to arrange to get a fob. There is a $5.00 deposit and a waiver form to be signed before you can be issued a fob. Those 16 and older may get a fob. The rules of the fitness center are listed below: Fitness Center Rules and Regulation ✓ Use of the exercise equipment and Wellness Center is at your own risk ✓ Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program ✓ Individuals are responsible for knowing their physical limitations ✓ Do not allow others to use your key fob ✓ Use the equipment only for its intended purpose ✓ No one under 16 is allowed to use the facility without an adult ✓ No food allowed ✓ No drinks allowed that cannot be capped ✓ No horseplay ✓ Wipe down equipment before and after use ✓ Use family-friendly language ✓ Return all equipment after use ✓ Keep your bag and equipment out of the way of others ✓ Don’t interrupt others’ workouts with conversation, particularly people wearing headphones ✓ Respect other people who are using the Wellness Center. Photos or video recordings of other patrons is not allowed without consent. ✓ Proper clothing is required ✓ Wear clean non-marking shoes ✓ Notify the school (701-473-5306) if equipment is broken ✓ The school is not responsible for lost or stolen articles ✓ Deposit of $5.00 for each key fob ✓ Hours: • School Days: 5:00am -7:30am and 4:00pm-11:00pm • Non-School Days: 5am-11:00pm • Additional times must be arranged with the school Minnewaukan Public School reserves the right to terminate privileges for failure to comply with Fitness Center Rules and Regulations. ---------------------------------------------------------- The fitness center is monitored by cameras.

Tomorrow Thursday, January 23rd: All 7-12 students are attending the T4 Summit at Camp Grafton. We will be leaving the school at 8:50am and will return back to the school by 2:30pm.
