Attention Students and Parents/Guardians,
This is a critical notice from the Principal of Minnewaukan grades 7-12. It is imperative that we address attendance promptly to ensure your academic success .Attendance is not optional; it is a fundamental aspect of your educational journey. Missing 20 or more classes is concerning and requires immediate action. Students who reach this threshold will need to stay after school for every hour missed. Failure to make up time after school will result in a grade of “NC” “No Credit” and the class will have to be retaken next school year. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this matter. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Mahon at 473-5306.Thank you for your attention to this matter. Your commitment to your education is vital for your future success.
Please Note:
*7-12 Students who currently have multiple classes with failing grades ARE required to stay after school 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, (WHEN BUSSING IS AVAILABLE.) *(Mrs. Widmer and Mrs. Bullinger), and Thursdays,*(Mrs. Bullinger), to address these failing grades. These students will have a snack and a bus ride home on these nights. Any questions, please contact Mr. Mahon at 473-5306
ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS – Please review your student’s UN-excused absences in each class period. Any class period with 20 or more UN-excused absences, *(listed as AU in PowerSchool), for your student will result in a final grade of *NC, (No-Credit), and your student will have to re-take that class the following school year. Students now have the opportunity to make up these UN excused absences by staying after school, hour for hour, to earn back these un-excused class period hours. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Mahon at the school at 473-5306.
